Raven climbed to the top of a large elephant skull and sat herself down upon getting there. She sat there trying to catch her breath, the graveyards could be a fun place to visit if you knew about skull sliding. Skull sliding was a game that Raven made up with her friends, you climbed to the top of the elepahnt skulls and slide down them all the while avoiding tusks and leftover bones, this game often left it's players with gashes in their sides but it was fun if you played your cards right. Today however, Raven's friends weren't allowed to go with her so she decided to play by herself.
Raven positioned herself on the very edge of the skull, her four legs positioned about the length of a small lizard apart from each other, her chest kept in a high position to show any tresspassers that she wasn't afraid of the so called horrible lands and she slid down the skull. Raven moved her body as best as she could, swerving from right to left in an attempt to avoid bone shards that would have left many wounds in her flesh had she run into them and having her fur ripped a few moments later by one of the elepahnt's tusks.
Raven squealed in pain when she felt the tusk stroke her furry chest, she saw small amounts of blood trailing behind her as she slid uncontrollably and crashed headfirst into something soft.

The dark golden lioness had done it again, it had become easier for her to escape and see the world, as long as she did it during certain time frames. Like now was Timon and Pumba's time to eat there, well bugs. Just thinking of that made her stick out her tongue in disgust, how they could eat it she did not know. The young adult lioness made her way swiftly across the lands, the familiar grasses brushed against her bodice as she moved. Ever since her first time sneaking out to the elephant graveyard, she hadn't gone back, but now she was curious. Curious to see if the two lions she had seen were still there, probably not it had been a week or so since then. Still maybe there was something new out there, something that would broaden her mind that much more. She could see the boarder between the pridelands and outlands come into view, noticeable by the lack of light on one side. She couldn't see how they could live without that much light, she loved the sun. The warmth of it seeping through her fur when she rested, yet maybe they loved the dark in the same way?
Shrugging her shoulders the pretty lioness walked over the boarder, feeling the damp earth under her paws. To her surprise it was quite inviting and cool against her pads, as they were used to the harder and more solid earth. It always seemed damp and moist here compared to the pridelands, it was a good change on her account. She liked being able to get a taste of both worlds, though she knew she would never leave the pridelands, it was her home. It always would be, besides she couldn't hurt her family like that, to just disappear would turn them into Zombies like when Kopa had disappeared. Rafiki told her about him once, and how it devastated her mother and father and he said that was why Simba kept a close eye on her. One because she was his only daughter, and two her pelt color was the same as Kopa's, the royal gold though hers was slightly darker but not by much. Making her way towards the elephant skull, she noticed no lions around.
So for once it would be a more, safer and peaceful visit. Sitting on the edge Kiara peered down at the bottom. She had no intention of even going back down there, it was hard enough getting back up the bone pile afterwards. Manly from the moisture that was set on the bones, preserving them in a way. The sound of rumbling bones caused the Princess to lift her head and turn her brownish red gaze over to a smaller cub, female by the fur and structure of her body. Kiara tilted her head as she watched her slide pasted some of the larger bones, like it was some sort of game. Still she could see the larger curved bone she was heading for and without thinking she jumped and slid down the bones on her paws. Pushing againstt them at the end she landed on the floor and raced towards the she cub, she barely made it in time to see her scrape her chest upon the bone and hear her yelp in pain. In moments she was placed right below her and the she cub had flown into her chest, Kiara used her leg to hold her to her chest and keep her from any more harm. Slowly she released the cub to the ground gently, and then took a step back. "Are you ok?"
she asked.[/blockquote] [/blockquote][/sub] OCC: Just curious, why is Kiara needed? =]

ooc: Well you see I thought that little Raven should be granted her first taste of freedom which she couldn't and wouldn't be able to do on her own,she knows that she could get seriously hurt if she leaves the outlands because she currently is curious about what the pridelands are like, so I feel that Kiara could tell Raven about what it's like there and Raven will try to sneak out of the Outlands to go there. Also it says in Raven's bio that she often sneaks into the pridelands to play with the cubs there and so I figure something needed to happen to make her start doing that in the first place and I thought who better to instill the adventurous trait into Raven than Kiara?
ic: Raven placed a paw against the wound on her chest and then slowly removed it and looked at her paw pad. It was soaked by the blood she was losing, it wasn't the kind of amount that you would lose by getting a small cut but it wasn't the amount that could lethally kill, more like the amount that would come from a wound that would likely become a scar. Raven squeaked in fear at the loss of blood, she certainly didn't act like an outlander cub. Raven jumped, startled when she had heard Kiara's voice and turned around in a quick blur of dark brown fur. Raven looked up at her and smiled politely, her yellowed fangs looked terrible she had such rotted teeth for someone so young "Yes ma'am I should be just fine im just in a little pain."Said Raven. Raven's voice was soft and sweet something that she had told herself she would lose when she became an adult but it reminded other lions of a baby antelope, young and innocent. The cub gave off the feeling that she didn't belong in these lands but her dark pelt, rotted teeth and protruding ribcage spoke otherwise.
Raven then realized something "You're not an outlander are you?"She asked in a soft whisper. She then giggled "It's ok im not going to tell the others, besides i've always wanted my very own pridelander to play with!"She shouted jumping as far into the air as she could before landing and cringing. She put her paw to her chest "Ow, I should probably stop doing that."She said embaressedly.

Kiara could tell that she was not a normal rogue cub, even they were fed a lot better then she was. She had that look, the look of an outsider much like Nuka, whom she had seen here before this young cub. Still the princess tilted her head in confusion, she looked rather lonely in a way. If she wasn't she would be back in her home with the other cubs, or they would be here with her. Even so she was surprised to see a cub here at all, this place was not made for them it was dangerous and unforgiving. Her burnt colored eyes ran over the she cub, as she locked eyes on her wound, blood dripped from it like a small stream and worry came into her eyes. Sure she had gotten hurt many times before, but seeing it on someone else made her realize how bad it looked to someone older. The cub seemed surprised by her voice and looked up at her giving a little squeak for the pain on her chest. Kiara wanted to calm her down, so she didn't move as much but she didn't want to offend the cub.
"Yes ma'am I should be just fine im just in a little pain."
Kiara was surprised that the little lioness was polite, most outsiders would sneer at the thought of being helped, so why didn't she? Still Kiara took notice to the yellow teeth in her mouth, and frowned was it really that bad out here? Still she didn't want to make her feel bad for it so she kept her face calm, "You should have it looked at, you wouldn't want it to get infected." she replied cooly, it was true and in a place like this infection was probably much easier to catch then in the pridelands. That and Rafiki was good at keeping all of the lions healthy and strong. Perhaps even Rafiki could do something about her teeth, and maybe that wound as well. "You're not an outlander are you?" she had whispered, almost to softly for the princess to hear, but she had barely heard it. Kiara chuckled softly and shook her head, "No, I am a pridelander. My name is Kiara, what's yours?" she asked curiously, she watched in amusement as the she cub giggled and promised not to tell. What a very active cub, not at all like the others, perhaps even better then some of their cubs. "You should hang around Ventus, a cub in our lands he is to guarded for his own good. And you should have Rafiki, our healer take a look at you as well. I can't just send you off with a cut now could I?" she replied, pressing a smile onto her pretty features as she looked down at the younger female. She watched as she moved and quickly said she shouldn't do that anymore, Kiara nodded in agreement it would be better if she didn't do any dramatic movements until it was healed.[/blockquote] [/blockquote][/sub]

Raven smiled, her grin masked the pain that she was forcing herself to withstand, she had a feeling that the pain was showing but she didn't care it was something she did, she had always hid her tears and pain from others and right now was no exception to that. Raven's ears perked in curiousity when she heard the older female Kiara as she had said her name was, talk about a pridelander cub named Ventus. Raven liked his name it sounded like something a strong warrior would be given and only made her smile more widely than she already had been.
"My name is Raven, it's nice to meet you princess Kiara."Raven said with a happy smile. The word princess made Raven recoil slightly and even though Kiara hadn't told her the princess part she figured it out for herself, she had been told by some older pridelanders that one of Simba's children had been spotted around these parts before and Raven thought it was a warning, that should she see any strange lionesses with a golden pelt that she should stay away from them, she never listened nor did she care it wasn't her place to care about such trivial things and she highly doubted that a pridelander would kill a cub or do any harm to one for that matter. Raven giggled and reached her right front paw up to Kiara's nose, she touched her paw to it quickly before pulling her paw away. "You're just like me, but you're not a cub, momma was wrong there isn't a difference between outlanders and pridelanders."She said.
